2025 Honors and Awards Banquet

On April 24, 2025 the AIAA Rocky Mountain Section honored six award recipients and enjoyed a keynote address from Kevin Au (Lockheed Martin VP Lunar Exploration Campaign). It was a great social and networking event as well, with students and professionals from across the front range gathering at the View House in Centennial.

Young Engineer of the Year: Alec Forsman, Advanced Space

Engineer of the Year: Rob Chambers, Lockheed Martin

Educator (K-12): Michelle Lucas, Higher Orbits

Educator (College / University): Azer Yalin, Colorado State University

Young Public Service: Nicholas A. Florio, Lunar Outpost

Public Service: Marshall Lee, Studio SE
