Announcing Our Newly Elected AIAA RMS Council Officers

The AIAA Rocky Mountain Section (RMS) is pleased to announce its incoming council members! Bringing a blend of mission management, system design, and dedicated community leadership, the new team is eager to serve aerospace professionals and students across the region.

Chair: Joshua Ehrlich

Joshua Ehrlich serves as a Mission Manager at Firefly Aerospace, following eight years at Lockheed Martin Space supporting human spaceflight and deep space architectures. His career spans SpaceX, ULA, NASA (including an 8-month NASA Mars analog study in Hawai’i), and degrees from the University of Florida and Colorado School of Mines. Moving up after serving as Vice Chair, Josh looks forward to strengthening the local aerospace network by driving professional connection, member engagement, and bringing fresh energy and events to the section.

Vice Chair: Jason Hebison

Jason Hebison is a Technical Project Engineer at York Space Systems in Denver leading satellite manufacturing programs. A long-time AIAA leader, he previously founded the UCI Student Branch and served as Section Chair for AIAA Orange County. Having recently relocated to Colorado, Jason is excited to leverage his leadership experience to build relationships with local aerospace leaders and contribute to the growth and success of his new community.

Secretary: Eric Cain

Eric Cain is an Aerospace Engineer with nearly 25 years of experience across aviation and space systems, including work on the Dream Chaser spacecraft at companies like Lockheed Martin, Sierra Nevada Corporation, and Sierra Space. Now the founder of Updraft Aerospace, Eric consults across the industry and serves as a mentor and coach. He looks forward to applying his deep operational and advisory expertise to support section governance and help guide early-career professionals.

Communications Director: Henry Jacques

Henry Jacques is a Mission Manager at True Anomaly, supporting mission execution for the Jackal platform, after beginning his career as a Mission Integration Engineer at Exolaunch and an Ohio Space Grant Consortium Fellow at the University of Dayton. Driven by his background as a longtime AIAA volunteer and speaker, Henry is eager to enhance section messaging and foster rich opportunities for networking, technical engagement, and collaboration between students and industry professionals.
