ATS 2025 Morning Keynote Speaker: Bruno Bachinger

Bruno Bachinger is Chief Engineer at Radia, where he is responsible for all aspects of the technical development of WindRunner. Previously, he was Director of the Flight Sciences IPT, where he led the engineering teams responsible for aerodynamics, airplane performance, loads and dynamics, mass properties, stability and control, and acoustics. Prior to Radia, Bruno spent two and half years as Director of Flight Physics at Archer Aviation, a leading eVTOL startup. Before Archer, he spent 23 years at the Boeing Company leading engineering teams in Research & Technology and Product Development, in both the Commercial and Military businesses, spanning from commercial airliner preliminary design and Open Rotor technology feasibility to Scramjet powered hypersonic vehicles (NASA contracted X-43 Hyper-X) and novel advanced aircraft designs such as the Blended Wing Body and Low Boom supersonics. Bruno holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
