The Colorado State University (CSU) Design-Build-Fly (DBF) team participated in the AIAA DBF Competition in Wichita, Kansas, from April 18-24. The CSU Ram Aero team placed 38th out of 107 teams, the highest among Colorado universities. Despite some challenges, the team is proud of their accomplishments and gained invaluable experience. Their hard work starting in September 2023 led to three complete flying airframes and over 50 test flights, earning recognition for design quality and team cohesiveness from fellow competitors and CSU faculty and peers, and a 1st place senior design award from CSU's Engineering Advisory Board.
